The kids

Wow - what a difference a couple of days have made! Olivia, who started out quite sad and clingy suddenly has become very smiley and playful! And, has become quite a Daddy's girl! I think she has been calling him Oppa too...? She has been much more tolerant of Matty's hugs and kisses. And, she even reaches out for Lucy and Jacob if they are nearby. She is sleeping great. Her eating is still so-so. She takes bottles great - holds them herself with a little help here and there. But, she does not eat much for solids. She has just started taking the tiniest of bits of bread and a few cheerios. Some she lets us feed to her, some she puts in her mouth herself. She will even let the kids give her some Gerber snack (with supervision) now and then.

We took Olivia to a nearby park and she really seemed to like the swing. She was not so much a fan of the slide. She likes to walk around and explore! And, she seems to enjoy rides in the stroller!

At home, she gravitates towards play (and real) phones, even holding them up to her ear! She plays well with the other kids and likes to walk around and follow us around the house. We do carry her quite a bit as I know she was used to that. But, we think she is adapting to her new home and her new family very well! We all think she is pretty special!!
