I cannot believe it has been 1 year since leaving Seoul and coming home with our Olivia! What a difference a year has made. Olivia has adjusted remarkably! She is a beautiful, sweet and very smart little girl. She already says her ABC's, counts to 19 and can sing quite a few songs in her repertoire! She loves to sing and dance - and play outside - something she was not too keen on when she first arrived. She has become such good pals with Jacob, Lucy and Matthew. Each have their own special relationship with her. Lots of "come on, Olivia" followed by her little "o-KAY!" She has also developed a fondness of shoes! She loves to put on shoes and walk around in them. And, just see her face light up when Mommy brings out a new pair of shoes for her!
We still have little issues with her eating - but nothing too uncommon at this age. She seems to dislike many foods unless accompanied by sweets... And often takes an excruciatingly long time to eat!!
But overall, she seems to be adjusting well and enjoying herself immensely - as we are her!! The kids talk often of their visit to Korea (mainly Jacob and Lucy) and ask to go back quite frequently. We are starting to save up! We hope to visit again when Olivia is a little older and will be able to remember the trip.

Olivia couldn't be a more perfect fit with our family. And, despite, a rocky initial visit, Olivia has quickly and lovingly taken on the role of "Daddy's Girl"! And, though the rest of us all know we are second preference, we are more than happy to accept it because we love our Olivia! And, we suspect, she loves us back!!
